Administration
The administrative offices of the Callaway County Ambulance District are located at 311 Hickman Avenue in Fulton, Missouri.
The day to day operation of the District is managed by the Director and his management team. Members of the management team include the Medical Director, Assistant Director, Training Officer, and Shift Supervisors. To ensure operational continuity, there is a Shift Supervisor or Relief Supervisor on duty 24 hours per day.
Christopher Sampson, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Sampson has been the District's Medical Director since January 1, 2021. Dr. Sampson works full-time as an emergency physician at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Dr. Sampson attended medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Sampson is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Emergency Medicine/Emergency Medicine Services.
Charles Anderson, Paramedic, MBA
EMS Director
Charles Anderson has been with the District since June 1, 1985, when he started as an EMT. After completing his paramedic education in April 1988, Charles began working as a full-time team member, working his way through the ranks until his current appointment as the District's EMS Director in 1992. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College and a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University. Charles has also attended 1,000's of hours of industry-specific training.
